Today is my forty-ninth birthday. Good grief. Is that right? That sounds so old. The big F minus one. Yechh.
Of course with the way I'm hobbling around, I actually feel like I'm eighty-nine. I could probably go toe-to-toe with Dad on a foot race about now....and he'd probably win.
No big plans. Just another day.
Forty-nine. Nope. Not liking the sound of that at all.

Aww, it's just another day.
Except it's not!

Hi Jerry! Bet you thought I had abandoned you. Computer problems caused me to replace my old one and I'm just now getting back on my Internet feet.
So sorry about your loss. It's so hard when we lose a parent.
Congrats on your Blogaversary. Time flies when we are having fun.
49 isn't so old. You can take that to the bank. Wait till your 68...tne again, if you keep falling off haywagons you may not make it that far.
I've got two Blogs now and I'm on Facebook. Aren't I the social one?
Please send me an email so I can add you to my contact list. Leave it blank if you want.
I'm just trying to get this new computer up to snuff.

Best wishes for the happiest of days.
I always knew baling was a pain in the ass.

Happy happy...best of luck with your tushyache, too. Hard to believe...you're a whole 15 and a half years older than me (snicker)! You're like the midwestern version of the big brother I've never had. Have a wonderful day!

Jerry, Happy Birthday!! If I was there I could make you a cake. I'm sorry to hear about your injuries. I hope you mend rapidly and are back up to snuff soon!
Forty nine isn't so old! I'm 6 yrs. older than you, so I'm really sounding old!! Feel it too, sometimes!! :)
I like it that you still bale hay in the square bales instead of the big round ones. You don't see the square ones very often anymore.

I am 2 days older than you. (Hope that makes you feel a little better??) Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday and thanks for forging the way..you've got about 6 months on me! I'm not looking forward to 49 either...well, actually I suppose I'll like it better than 50! Give your poor backside a rest - you've still got plenty of years ahead to be kickin' around.

49 ain't so bad!! Enjoy it and hang on to it for dear life, for the next year. I turned 50 and I have survived, so far. It was kind of a relief to get it over with. Happy birthday!

Happy Birthday...sorry you're in pain from something boring like work, instead of from severe partying....

Happy birthday, Jerry! (And I hope your butt is feeling better.) The Big F minus one - I like the sound of that. Maybe that's because I'm the Big F plus 3... or 4... I can't keep track anymore!
Sure wish you and the gang could have been out here again this year. Maybe in '10.

Happy birthday Jerry! If you're F minus 1, then that makes me....ah, never mind.

Sending O's and X's your way. Happy Birthday, Jerry!

Hmmm...since I'm the big 6-0 minus NONE, you are still a puppy Jerry...
Happy Birthday a day late...today we are celebrating my Old Airedale Reagans 11th Birthday.

You sound like my husband, "Oh, it's not a big deal... just another day..."
But LORDY if we don't make a big deal out of it or talk about it, then it suddenly IS a big deal that we aren't making a big deal out of it!!
:-)
I sure hope you had a good b-day. You are a good feller. You are not 50 yet, so maybe you can just claim to be 49 for the next several birthdays and avoid that whole half century thing.
My mother's b-day is today, so you are in good company.

I'm getting to know more and more 'old farts.' It's frightening. But I'm 59 and think you should get over it.
Sorry about the injury. Hope there aren't any long term effects.

A belated Happy Birthday to you!!! Of course it was my sister's birthday too and I missed it. Oh well, I'm not good at the birthday thing, hope you're getting around a bit better by now!
