Today is my 46th birthday. Closer to fifty than forty. Wow. How did I get this damn old?
I've always loved my summer birthday. I get a parade. Then some fireworks. And then if I stay up past midnight, it's my birthday! Born on the 4th of July? The hell with that. Who needs a holiday to steal your thunder? The 4th is just a prelude to my birthday; and the party continues on. I usually take a vacation day on my birthday. But this year, I've got a deadline to meet so I may take Thursday off instead.
One of my favorite bands is playing in Indianapolis tonight. I may have to go see them perform again. I'll probably need a nap first though.

Happy Birthday! I started a tradition on my 30th bday. Every year I would work at making one more dream come true that way I'd have something positive to look forward to instead of focusing on my age thereby begining a mid-life crisis.
In that spirit, may all your dreams come true!

Start talking in terms of useful age. That will be from about 23 through, maybe 90 (go by your Dad still using his chainsaw at 88), rounded to about 58 years. Add half that (29) to 23 to get age 52 for your mid-useful-life.
So you can have six more years before even getting to middle age.

Happy birthday! I have a similar set up... I was born at 1:02 am on December 26th about 10 years before you were born! The downside is that everyone is too tired to do ANYTHING the day after Christmas! Guess I should have planned my arrival better. ;o)

Wow, I checked the Brave Combo web page and Myspace, they are great! I wish I had known about their concert. Maybe next time they are around! I love a band that has instruments, since I am a trumpet player.
