I love that piggy!

The bunny song scares me :/

Okay, give that pig a plate and a fork and a bunny!!

What a weird song.....

Maybe this song needs some background:

It is from Veggie Tales: Rack, Shack, & Benny. It is sung by the chocolate factory owner, Mr. Nezzar.

Review (Amazon.com):
The latest in an animated Christian children's series, this video teaches kids the importance of standing up to peer pressure through a thinly disguised Bible story. When Bob the Tomato, our host, sees that Larry the Cucumber is trying to fit into what's "cool" by wearing an oven mitt as a hat, he tells Larry that it's important to be true to yourself no matter what the consequences. Bob tells Larry a story about three vegetables, Rack, Shack, and Benny, who are held hostage in a factory and forced to make chocolate bunnies. When the owner, Mr. Nezzar, takes a liking to them, he offers to promote them if they will only worship a giant chocolate bunny.
The story is based on the book of Daniel in the Old Testament, in which three friends stand up to King Nebuchadnezzar, refusing to worship a false idol. The slavery and death themes may be too dark for kids under 7, but the animation and songs are fun. --Elisabeth Keating

Oh, makes more sense now. Thanks for the explanation Jerry!

Got go with rachel on this one - thanks for the explaination. Your song have more depth than the one I posted - that I understood.

I'm ready for chocolate bunnies too! I plan to splurge this Sunday. I already bought some caramel filled eggs. I'll try and wait until Easter to indulge, but it will be hard.

Dude... you're starting to worry me. Veggie Tales? Doing Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego? I don't know why, but it makes this whole post very creepy...

I sit and stare, now that I've listened to your's and Ralph's offerings. My mind is numb.

To all who think I've lost it with The Bunny Song, just know this:

I pick my music like they used to on American Bandstand. It's got a good beat and you can dance to it!

I love Oreo! :)

We have that Veggie Tales! And we sing that song all the time in our house! LOL!

O.M.G...my sister, who happens to home school, plays Veggie Tales for her kids all the time. They're all a little weird, and this particular Veggie Tale sounds like it explains a lot about their perceptions.
