I had a visitor last night. That One Guy from Drunken Wisdom was passing through Indiana on his way back home from Florida. He has been visiting lots of fellow bloggers along the way. I met him at the interstate and he followed me out to the farm. When we hit the gravel road, I'm sure he had scenes from Deliverance pass through his mind. We grabbed a bite to eat nearby and sat around and shot the bull for awhile. He is a really funny guy. He decided to stay and get a good night's sleep and headed out for home this morning.
I met T1G, Blake, and several other bloggers from the Bad Example Clan last month at the Wolf Park Blogfest in Lafayette, IN. I missed the actual Wolf Park festivities but caught the party afterwards. They were a great bunch of folks and very kind to a stranger.
It's funny to meet fellow bloggers in person after you've been conversing online for months. When you meet, it's just like visiting with an old friend. You just hit the ground running. You already know if they are funny, political, sports nuts, bad spellers, or religious fanatics. Or in the case of T1G, going straight to hell. T1G agrees that it's like visiting with family (family that you like). So, y'all come visit. I won't bake a cake, but I might bake a pie.

mmmm... pie... :-)

Boy, oh, boy, Jerry. Sometimes you don't post much at all, and then you do several posts all at once. I guess you've had more free time lately.
I'm glad you met a blogger friend in person. Very cool!!

Three things:
1) T1G's lost weight.
2) That's the ugliest lawn gnome I've ever seen
3) I didn't know lawn gnomes wore jeans
:-)

I'm having breakfast with a fellow blogger tomorrow on his way to Denver. We met last August for lunch and now he's moving to Colorado. Meeting bloggers can be fun. I'm going to meet some of my absolute favorite ones this summer up in Denver.
Have a great day.
